Welcome! I'm Kayla Burton, a Chicago-based food photographer, and I'm so excited to meet you! Over the past few years I've had the pleasure of creating beautiful photos with over 15 food and kitchen brands. I consistently deliver high-quality, engaging content with fast response and turnaround times. I value my clients and their time and goals, so your needs are my top priority. I'm looking forward to creating content with you to drive brand awareness and sales!
When I'm not in the studio, you can find me baking for my blog (Broken Oven Baking Company), cuddling with my cavapoo, or searching for the best ramen in the city with my partner, Chris Pieta.

FAQ
What's a typical project like?
First, we'll connect via email or a call to get on the same page with content, prices, etc. I'll then send you a contract, mood board, and initial invoice, and you'll ship me the products for production. After shooting, you'll have the option to select final photos from a gallery of options, or I'll be happy to choose them and save you time.
What's your turnaround time?
Within 5 days of receiving your product, a gallery of photo options will be ready for you to choose final photos from. Once those are selected, the final edits will be ready within 5 more days. Please allow for a couple of extra days if the project includes recipe development.
Do you do on-site photoshoots?
I'm open to on-site photoshoots for restaurants, cafes, etc. in the Chicago area. These types of projects typically start at $3,000.
